New Year's Eve 2002 |back to news|

Another party at COHIC [City of Hope International Church]. Interesting evening: after dinner, our Choir was supposed to perform--majority of the choir got sick and couldn't perform. I was not feeling well, also, probably due to my recent all-night recording/writing stints I've been doing lately. Composing is hazardous to my health. "Clear Blue" was supposed to perform, but our drummer got delayed coming in from Maryland. However, my brother Dan's band "After Glow" played a two-song set which went over nicely.

All in all: a good time. The service was nice and it gave me a chance to test the live recording quality of my new Archos Jukebox 20 recorder. We watched the ball drop--thank you Dick Clark--and I came home and listened to Shostakovich and Pendercki.
