I was asked to be part of the opening act for folk star Peter Donnelly.
Jennifer Vaughn was the featured performer with accompaniment by myself and
Daniela Suarez on piano.
The set featured a piano and voice duet on "Heaven", and acoustic guitar and voice performances on "Landslide" ala Fleetwood Mac and "Song Bird" by Eva Cassidy whom, I'm told, has no relation to David Cassidy. Landslide would've moved Lindsey Buckingham it was so solid. We ended the set with "Don't Know Why" by Nora Jones. I cut my hand pretty badly moving my amp out of my trunk, and it was still throbbing went we sound checked at Wilkins Theatre. A roadie told that I should use crazy glue to hold it together. "It has tons of antibacterial disinfectants in it". I politely refused after he commented: "I've crazy-glued myself together hundreds of times". |
