are permitted.
1)
Create
a patch that somehow contributes to
education in music. Suggested
categories include patches that aid
in student composition, performance,
music analysis, instruction,
therapy, research, special needs, or
something else.
Display this
bpatcher in
your program's interface so that you can
identify with EAMIR and this project.
You are encouraged, but not required, to
use the
EAMIR SDK
or
the Modal Object
Library to help you design
your software.
2) Create an account at
www.eamir.net
(free) and choose the
Max App
Competition link from the side
menu. Already a user? Click
here.
3) Upload a standalone version of your
patch (.zip compressed) for Mac and/or
Windows. It is recommended, but
not required that you upload a
standalone for both platforms as judges
will be using both platforms. Please
consider also uploading your source, so
that others in the community can remix
your application for personal use under
a
CC license.
Legal:
The
EAMIR SDK
and
the Modal Object
Library use a
CC license and may be used in your
project.
By submitting your project, you are
agreeing to allow us to host your
submission and make it accessible to
users via the EAMIR and SoundTree
websites at the close of the
competition. You, of course, retain the
rights to your software, and your
software and access to it will never be
sold.
By submitting your project, you agree
that you are the author or all content
submitted (except the
EAMIR SDK
and
the Modal Object
Library if you use these
libraries) or that you have permission
to submit any content including third
party libraries, objects, and sound
files for which you are not the author.
Judging:
When the project submission period
closes, projects will be scored blindly
by a panel of judges not associated with
EAMIR, this contest, or it's sponsors.
Projects will be scored based on
creativity and usefulness to the field
of music education.
Winners will be announced shortly after
submission closes and prizes will be
awarded.
